How Do You Live

*Feeling confused/lost*

Lulling my head…into my hands
I place myself under yet greater demands
Feeling so trapped…inside my own head
The book is now closing, the story’s been read

The wind stirs each dream, and sweeps each away
A spiralling motion; I so long them to stay
For all that I hold…in these small hands
Is the hope that someone, somewhere understands

I watch my life movie…I’m all on my own
With a head filled with ice, and a heart made of stone
The images replay as my strength comes undone
You’d think I’d feel something; I only feel numb

And the wind keeps on blowing; I cannot be moved
The whispers are growing; the pain can’t be soothed
I feel myself slipping…I feel myself stay
I wake up tomorrow and its back to today

When Faith shuts the door…how do you cope?
I’ve lost the most precious, the one that is Hope.
Justice has wandered away from my life…
How do you live, tell me how you survive
