As I look across the table
At a couple that has taught me everything
A couple that is so happy
A couple that would never separate
I see my heroes
Threw everything
The good or bad
They have stayed with each other
Never forgetting their promise
The promise of

The promise of love
The promise to never upset their children
These people are always there
They never leave my side
They never will
And when their life is over
They will walk with me
For they are my parents
They will be carried throughout my life
In my heart
And in my soul
Because they are my heroes
