Being With You

by wayne t   Mar 4, 2005

Being with you has renewed my senses and spirit,
For so long were suppressed from fear of rejection,
Of Never finding the woman to take me as I am,
Sharing myself and passion a perfect connection,
A new world is opening before my eyes, a new way,
One who loves to talk on any subject or our day,
Fascination of beauty, color, of my heart and soul,
Letting her feelings be known, be it art or other ways,
Not perfect but yet a woman, nor am I perfect to say,
That it doesn't matter to either, a special feeling it is,
Thinking of her every day I cannot help but smiling,
On these warm spring days I see her in my minds eye,
Long silver hair flowing, as her eyes sparkle seeing me,
Feeling the breeze, holding hands kissing passionately,
She capturing the day in art, as I write of the day in part,
As I pen this one might say, these feelings, act your age,
To those that dismiss my feelings as youthful I do admit,
For at my age one doesn't find a woman whom I have met,
For our youthful feelings contain passion, substance, grace,
We\'veI'vearned over life, the past, what is important to last,
To you Bonnie this I write, gracious of acceptance in your life,
And on my honor I shall respect you as the woman you are.
