To much love - Story Poem * 1 of my best *

It was sunny
we were on the beach
having a great time
the waves were crashing upon us

I was in love
I loved with all my heart
and would never let her go

We walked on the sand for hours
talking
and holding hands
exchanging thoughts
and ideas

showing love for each other
with the sign of love for ever
I would love her forever
and tell her everyday
I love you

I made a promise
one to myself
saying don't let go
she's to good

We loved each other so much
we couldn't stand to part

One day I woke up
heard thunder
lightning

The day was bleak
and dark
no shining sun at all

It was so depressing
I had to see my baby girl
I just had to

The phone lines were out
the roads were to horrible to drive
all I could do was gaze at a photo

The day lasted forever
the rain came down all day long
I weeped to be with her
I was sure she was weeping too

I wanted to tell her
how much I love her
but there was no way of communication

I gazed outside my window
saw a strike of lightning
backed away in fright

I worried she wasn't on the road
I sensed her there
she was in danger

I rushed out in a flash
grabbed my coat
ran as fast as i could
to reach her

I went to her house
I saw her car gone
I pondered
what is she thinking!?

I soon began to cry
began to think of the worst
I couldn't give up
I had to find her
make sure she's alright

I hear sirens
I see police
and fire trucks
I worry
I pray to God
I hope she's alright

I run after the trucks
see where they are going
they seem to lead to my house

I was so worried
The fact that it was in direction
of my house
didn't help
It made me worry more

Half way there
I see bright blue and red light
flashing in the distance
I run toawrds them as fast as possible

I see her car
the one that was missing
I see a tree
it had fallen onto the car

My girl friend
she was injured
severely
she was squashed by the tree

The police say
my photo
was in her hands
when they found her

She was rushed to the hospital
the doc said its in Gods hands
I prayed for mercy
I prayed for her to be alright

I fear for her death
I just stood and watched her
upon the bed
having many tubes goto her
and keeping her alive

I just cried at her side
holding her hands

The heart monitor
it started to slowly fade
I was screaming
DON'T GO!!
DON'T GO!!!
PLEASE GOD!!
DON'T TAKE HER!!
SHES EVERYTHING TO ME!!

She died right there
right in front of me
I loved her so much
and now she's gone

Maybe we loved to much
if only we hadn't loved
then she would still be alive
but am I to blame myself?

I will pray
to god every night
wishing for her to be
happy in heaven
and telling God
to tell her
Ill see her soon
