You say that you forgive me
But you won’t take me back
That just leaves me wondering
“What is it that I lack?”

“What is it about me
That pushes him away?”
“Why did I ever leave him?”
“Why didn’t I just stay?”

I can answer those questions
Its simple when you think
I was just plain stupid
I let love go in a blink.

You tell me not to think about it
But that’s not something I can do
I can’t just not think of it
Its too hard cuz I love you.

I live day in, day out
Thinking of whats wrong with me
Awaking and sleeping with the same problem
…………I just can’t see.
