Pain

Wishing the pain would go away
asking god why he put this one me
hoping my life would end today
giving my life would be a small fee
asking why you send these tears
why you want me to feel this way
living life like this is one of my great fears
taking life day by day
my heart is torn
my body's weak
life's nothing but a sharp thorn
I'm always stepping on its peak
as i lie alone in darkness
tears stream down my face
Ive grown to be hopeless
taking my life without a trace
