Slowly and silently

by Tiera   Mar 5, 2005

Let the tears fall.
Slowly and silently
they slide down my face.
Drip,drop,drip.
I dare not wipe them away.

Slowly and silently
they write on my skin.
Their own words.
Words that can't form on my tongue.
Words that are locked away for safe keeping,
but found a way out....
Through my tears.

Let them fall,
let them fall,
let them fall,
slowly and silently.

Now what does my face say?
All you have to do is look at me and see,
that tears have been falling
Slowly and Silently
