Liquid Murderer

I Don't Know What It Is That Alcoholics Think
I Don't Know Exactly What Drives Them To This Horrid Drink

Alcoholics Are Increasing In Number And This Is Not That Sad
Compared To The Fact That One Of Them Is My Very Dad

So Many People Are Killed Every Year From People Just Like Him
It's Hard To Imagine My Dad As One Of Them

He Was Addicted To This Liquid I Could Not Understand
His Addiction Called For Such a High Demand

The Demand Got So High It Cost Him Rent That Night
It Even Cost Him What Once He Knew As "Life"

Paralyzed He Lay In a Casket Not Soon Then After
And I Was Just a Little Child In The Midst Of That Disaster

What Matters Is He Can't Remember What It Is He Did
After He Swallowed The Liquid Below That Bottles Lid

He Could Have Killed Someone And Woke Up Not Knowing
It Hurts To See Alcohol In The Store, The Obvious Is Showing

If You Know Someone Who Died While An Alcoholic Was Driving
I Cry Tears For You Because Theres No Denying

But Its Not Half As Bad As Him Not Knowing What He Did
And Me Having To Live The Life Of An Alcoholic's Kid

*****When U Drink It Hurts U As Much As Everyone Else Around U*****
