To every

by nikki @~~   Mar 5, 2005

To every little girl,
whose ever had a dream,
To every innocent baby-
who was but has never been.
To every little boy,
left to wonder all alone,
to every child whose never
had a place to call their own.
To every mother working two jobs,
just to make ends meet
to every stranger I pass unknown,
every day on the street.
To every man whose ever wanted
just to make his family secure,
to every dreamer who lost everything
because they dared to dream in color.
To every heart left searching still
and every soul left holding out
to every mind that's dared to question
and every voice that's dared to shout,
I salute you, I admire
I hope you know your worth
Unique, you're absolutely
the treasures of this earth.
For every wrong I'm sorry,
and for every hurt, a kiss.
What you are, can never be again,
so please don't ever compromise it.
