Breaking

My shoulders I can feel them breaking
The weight of the world they're taking
Balancing and falling down
Wanting to get out of town

Wounded by discrimination
Searching for my resurrection
Hatred flows through every vein
At the world for all my pain

Wanting to rise from the ground
To anywhere where happiness can be found
Flying on the wind of my mind
Escape from where my sadness binds

I stumble slowly and I fall
Crying, no-one hears my call
Yelling out yet there's no sound
Falling swiftly to the ground

Watching demons wrap themselves around me
Tearing at my soul, they kill me
Bringing me quickly back to life
Facing a constant barrage of strife

Where in life, the bullies haunt
Laughing, at me as they taunt
Where I am once again so sad
Feelings nothing good just bad

As I turn, myself insane
Causing all this constant pain
Cutting leaving brutal scars
Using pieces of broken glass

As I turn my back on the world
On society from which I was hurled
No longer seeking some exception
Used to the agony of rejection
