Falling Apart...

Why do I feel so much pain
When a smile is all I wear
Why do I feel so hopeless
When people say they care

Each and every night
I wake up crying
And the thoughts in my head
Are controlled by dying

Everything’s getting worse
I don't know how much I can take
My entire life is falling apart
I'm so sick of being fake

I hate how I always lie
And say that I'm just fine
When what I should be doing
Is ending this life of mine

My smile is getting harder to make
My tears are getting harder to hide
And no matter how hard I try
I can’t push these feelings aside

I don't want anyone to know
How much I hate my life
No one needs to know
That it’s filled with so much strife

So for now ill make a smile
And keep everything inside
And make everyone believe
That I still have some pride...

    wow, you kinda remind me of me awhile back... i used to write depressed poems all of the time.... and there was something behind mine... is that the case for you? or are you just writing poetry..... coming up with random stuff...? cuz if there is something wrong... well i want to help... in your depressing poems you convey terrible hurt and pain.. and if you're carrying that around, then i want to try to help lessen that so you dont do something bad.....
