All my life I longed to be looked at
Eternity I dreamed of being held
It seemed like forever I spend hoping for someone to reach for my hand
Then you came around
and I cherished you
Everyday it grew more and more
You looked into my eyes and saw me
With your strong arms around me I was safe
And oh how beautifully my hand fit yours
You made promises of forever
And with my eyes in the sky I believed you
You stood by me through all my mistakes
And when I laid my head on your chest with every beat of your heart I felt at home
As time rolled by
Your smile still melted my tears, your smile held me captive
And now looking up at the blue skies
I long for those days
All my life I longed to be looked at
and you saw me for me

    I miss reading some of your poems. When ever I feel depressed about my ex, I can always look forward to know that your work can make me feel better.
