Surrounded by Your Memory

by Hannah   Mar 6, 2005

Surrounded by your memory,
There is no place to hide,
When your memory is destroying me,
From within, deep inside

I want to run away,
And maybe just forget you,
But if I forget the pain you caused,
I'd have to forget the good times too.

I am followed by your memory,
It is never far behind,
It traps me, then tortures me,
Never, ever leaving my mind

I see the scenes so vividly,
They make me want to smile,
But then reality hits again,
I'm alone once more, in this trial

I feel like I'll always be haunted,
Although they tell me time heals,
I'm still surrounded by your memory,
And you'll never know how it feels.
