Easy Way Out***

I feel like taking the easy way out
Which is to run, Far Far away
to a land where nothing goes wrong
and you can take life day by day

I feel like taking the easy way out
Which is to run and not go back
To will everything away
And to never again be attacked

I feel like taking the easy way out
for both yours and my sake
so the pain i brought on will heal
one less heart i have to break

I feel like taking the easy way out
to hide myself in a shell
So i wont feel this ache
and get out of this living hell

But i can't take the easy way out
for regret would take over my mind
I can't take this shortcut
I have to take my time

    i love this, it's so true. exept so many people do take the easy way out. But your heading in the right direction not taking the shortcut cause it always comes back to bring you down the end, ive learned that. And your so right about the regret thing too...great poem 5/5! maybe you could read my latest poem? I'd love to know what you think.
