The Ocean's Beauty

by Imani   Mar 6, 2005

Hear the clinks of the shells on her ankle
See her from a distance in the sky
Hear her song in the depths of the ocean
See her dreams that come out and fly

Her reflection sparkles in the ocean
When the moon is just right
Her beautiful brown skin glistens
For she is a wonderful sight

The Ocean’s Beauty is so fair
Glittering stars collect in her hair
Her ruby red lips show a smile
And she lets you know that she’s worth while

Do you hear the clinks of the shells on her ankle?
Do you see her from a distance in the sky?
Did you hear her song in the depths of the ocean?
Did you find her dream and fly?

I really liked the personification of the sea, and the way you used some of these words. Wow :)

    Take care,
    Karen
