Life

In school she was taught how to hate race
but her mom told her, it doesn't matter what color's on your face
how could she have known any better
that she and her friend wasn't allowed to play together

They grew up two blocks apart
but their memories stays within their hearts
Her daddy left this world
when she was just a little girl

that was a break for her sick mother
and she was often left alone with her younger brother
She was sent out to work in the streets
she used to be strong, but was getting weak

One day they lost their home
she lived in the street, she was all alone
She was arrested when she was 14
the police told her to get clean

She met a man who promised to stay
he stole her drugs and money and left her the next day
She needed to get high
couldn't take it anymore, she just wanted to die

but God wanted her to pay for her sin
so she met another man who took her in
He was good and treated her well
but still she lived in Ghetto-hell

When she was 17 she found out that she was having a baby
soon it would be easy for every one to see
She told him, that he was going to be a dad
but she shouldn't have, it only made him mad

He couldn't have children so he knew she lied
she begged for him to stop, God knows how she tried
He almost killed her that night
he was too strong for her to fight

When she had the baby, she threw him in the trash
she couldn't take care of him, she needed cash
She turned around to leave, but kept hear him crying
and she walked on as her baby-boy were dying

3 days later they found her in an alleyway
so finally God heard her pray
