Before And After

We went out one night,
Just as good friends.
We never thought,
That this would be the end.

Of a beautiful friendship,
That would soon become more,
Because we didn’t see,
That our love would soon soar.

And for that time,
We’d be more then just friends.
That is until,
This would all come to an end.

While we were not one but two,
I thought that maybe,
I really did love you.

The way you held me,
And made me feel.

And mine would seel.
The way your touch,
Came upon me,
And showed me everything,
That I could be.

Since love is something,
That two people share.
I wanted to continue things,
And show you I care.

The only problem is,
