Frustration

by ~Samantha~   Mar 7, 2005

Sitting in this room
looking at your face
staring off to space
feeling no embrace.

Walking through an empty house
tracing a line of love
only to know that you'll never feel it.

Reaching for your body
grasping only air
without you near me
it's loneliness I fear.

Knowing you've left me
but feeling every touch you gave
brings tears to my eyes
and pain to my life.

The anger grows
and I have to burst
loosing you was hard
but living with your memory
is a task much worse.

Memories come back
and my pain grows fonder
wishing you could only hold me longer

Knowing it's only memories I have
brings me more frustration.
