How Come

I thought our love would stay true and last forever but how come when a love from your past still lingers on your mind...

She is gone, she's moved on to a better life and is with God now and will always know that your thinking of her.

But why choose to leave me in pain, wasnt it you that told me that you love and would never break my heart to a million of pieces.

I gave you my heart, I gave you my soul and what did you do, you've took it all away even though I gave everything that I've called my own.

How come you cant forget about her, how come I have to sacrifice the love I have for you so that she can be happy to see you smile once again....

The only question that still lingers on was how come and why did you commit to the action and just slipped away.
