Forever Wars

Why is it that this world
Is a world full of hate
And to me it seems
The world is doomed to this fate

Why is there so much fighting
Why cant we all get along
All it does is lead to wars
Conducted by deaths dreadful song

Its in the midst of all this fighting
That we lose so many lives
And pleads for peace
Are drowned out by anguished cries

Why does it seem so weird
Why does it seem so funny
To have peace and love
To live life in harmony

But the road to peace
Is a dark and clouded one
We can only hope for a better tomorrow
Accompanied by the rising sun

    actually, this poem touched me. good job. thank you for commenting on my poem, i read that and decided to read one of yours(i dont have time or i would have read more) but i hadnt been able to write a poem for almost 2 weeks and that was the first one that came to my head... so dont give up.
