I close my eyes and hold on tight.
Wish me luck as I leave tonight.
I missed the rain but danced anyway.
It was easier then and impossible today.
When you left I though I'd go insane.
The sun chose to shine and I gave into pain.
It was forever in a second that just disappeared.
It almost felt real, but then the sky cleared.
I stood in the doorway and made a wish.
A bit of confusion left only one kiss.
Mistaken as truth, lies slowly became us.
I tried, but I broke, because I couldn't give quite enough.
But its not yesterday, and nothing seems right.
So I just close my eyes and hold on tight...
