Coffee
What a bad addiction
When you act like a fool
People assume you’re drunk
Five cups later
And you’re singing the song
“Bouncing off the walls again”
Because that’s what you are doing
After five cups of coffee
Running around the dorm
In full terror that people are after you
Hiding in the corning next to an officer
Whispering “The Commies are coming”
Thinking that you are wired
You take off your clothes
And start running down the hall
Screaming “Where is the wire I can’t find it”
Poor girl. The coffee really got to her this time
She runs down the stares
Passing the boy she just went on a date with
The day before
And jets to the storage room
The janitor asking questions
Girl screams “You won’t get a damn thing from me you commie”
Runs to the switches that control the campus
Starts pulling every switch looking for the one for the “wires”
Lights go out and she passes out
She wakes up in the park
Wearing her professors favorite shirt
That he keeps in his class for show
And the mascot pants on
Wonder what the hell she did
Tasting the coffee on her lips
She looked down and said
“Oh shit not again”
She looked up and saw
A nude picture of herself
