I'm being torn away
Moving to a place brand new.
I'm being torn from a life I love,
But especially from you.

You're my best friend,
Sister for life.
But being far away,
Just doesn't feel right.

You've been my shoulder to cry on,
And accepted me for me.
I've blocked away my heart before,
But I've given you the key.

We're not "joined at the hip"
As some people say.
But we're joined at the soul.
In my heart you'll always stay.

Our friendship is like a river flowing.
Its had some rocky moments, but we keep on going.

And in that river is where we reside,
Our souls flowing together side by side.

Im going to miss you and all our good times,
Going to dances and parties, and hanging at the mall,
Just going through life with you and our friends..
Knowing its "all for one, and one for all"

I wish my dad didn't get a job so far away,
And with you I could always stay.
But since Im going to a place so totally new.
I want you to know..
I can NEVER forget you!!
