Can you hear me?

It's dark in here,
in this hollow body of mine.
I scream but no one can hear me. I forget where my heart is.
Do I have one?
Am still breathing?
My face turns to white.
My lips fade to purple.
You loved me.
You hated me.
It happens you said.
" People break up and move on"
I'm closing the book.
I'm sending you away.
If you loved me you would say it's okay.
But you walk away.
Here I am.
An empty nothing.
So I sit and wait.
I know you'll came back to me.
I reassured myself that you would come back.
I sit and wait for you to call.
I wait for you to come in through my door.
But you don't.
You don't call.
You don't come back.
You then disappear.
It's like an empty apartment.
People are here but I'm alone.
I need to wake up from this nightmare.
My heart is broken.
I'm sorry.
It's okay to be angry and never let go.
But it only makes it harder.
Maybe someday I'll see you again.
You look me in the eyes and call me your friend.
