To my Butterfly

by Spanish Prince   Mar 8, 2005

There have those who claimed responsiblity for your bodyheat and attest to your beauty........Yet I, who have never known you have seen you dressed in hot coals dancing to the music of thunderstorms and surf in January.....Others have been attracted by your flowery scents and shadowed eyes, Never by your love which purifies.....And none have ever perceived your earth smells or relationship with the moon....They pretend..... While you play at being content ......Your lips never betray you and your body which is of itself, Has often refused promising caresses for the embrace of a dream.......and like a child made up in her mothers clothes, I have seen you naked dancing at dawn the early morning mist covering you like veil of lillies....It is then you think all men are fools.....Someday,perhaps, we will meet and our silence will be broken as we touch, dance and balance the rain..........
