Will you take a minute and listen
to what I have to say?
I can't promise it will be interesting
but it won't take all day.
It's just that emotions and thoughts
are filling my mind.
And if I don't let them out
they will bubble over time.
I just need someone to here me out

you don't have to respond
I just want to tell you whats up.
Sometimes it's about stress
other times it's good news.
Sometimes it'd be nice to share my poem
other times out want to let out fumes.
Will you please take some time
out of your precious day
to listen to what, I have to say?
Because I'm tired of talking
only with this pen in my hand.
I need a human being to listen, pat my shoulder, understand.
