Another broken heart lies deep within,
it seems to her that there is nothing that she can win,
she has tried before but has got nothing but failure,
she is no longer pure.
Loves and romances, they come and they go,
she gets turned down with nothing but a no,
another broken heart that never gets fixed,
she is always left with a reminder on her lips.
Friendships and worst enemies, they do not last very long,
in the end, she is always blamed for the wrong,
she tries and she tries to win them all over,
but she always seems to come to the conclusion that they want nothing to do with her.
Deaths come as often as life,
she has no one to turn to but her knife,
no one to tell her that it is ok,
and at least she has the gift of living another day.
Another broken heart, all alone and afraid,
she sits alone with her thoughts and feels her soul fade,
the smile is gone, replaced with tears,
she has become her own worst enemy, everything she fears.
Her visions fade and her breathing stops,
soon after, standing over her, there are cops,
she is laying surrounded by blood, in the middle of the bathroom floor,
her wrists and throat are signed, she is no more.
But if you look deep into her baby blue eyes,
you will realize that it was not her choice to die,
another broken heart just wanted to be free,
i look closely and realize that this broken hearted girl, laying there motionless and cold, just so happened to be me.
