I’ve reached that point of endless pain
You’re the cause, the one to blame
To you, everything was just a game
Lying here in sheer distress,
All tangled up in my own mess,
Slowly feeling less and less.
I saw you today,
Then the sky turned gray,
And I had so much to say,
But inside me it stayed,
I knew I had been played,
However, I too had betrayed.
I’m constantly trying to construe,
What it is that we had, me and you,
Now that we are forever through.
All of my attempts are in vain,
So I’ll just lie here in this cold rain,
Trying to break this deadly chain,
But forever destined to drown in eternal pain.
