I wish, i wish

I lay awake,
Slowly fading away.
The music beating within my head,
The words so close to my heart.
I lift my head gently I see my self,
Shaking like an ever lasting flame.
I watch the night pass so quickly ,
Just as cars fly by,
Just as my life,
Crashes before my eyes.

I look at the shining star.
They all ways told me,
They all ways said,
Make a wish ,
Make a wish when you see,
The shining star.

The wish I make,
I wish I take.
A wish that’s locked into my heart.
The wish I say,
“I wish I was away from here,
I wish I was not alone,
I wish, I wish I was happy.
Like I used to be.”

My heart sank just as a ship does over its long tiresome life.
The tears build up around my eyes,
One by one they drop with the slightest sound.
Each one holding my thoughts and emotions.
Each one holding the scares of my life.
Each one holding my dreams,
Of what I all ways needed.
Each one keeping me together,
Each one thinking of the wish.
The wish,
I hope will come true.
