I'll Be Waiting

Watching time fly by as changes are made,
things that we thought would last suddenly begin to fade.

whispers are heard & shadows are seen,
you begin to question yourself what did he really mean.

when he said that he wouldn't break your heart & things would fall into place,
but you never thought that the pieces would mean never seeing his face.

if only we could look past the tears & see what lies ahead,
we wouldn't be wishing on stars,we would be appreciating life instead.

but life is so hard & tears are shed,
sometimes i wonder if I'm better off being dead.

but then i start to think, wonder if theres really someone,
who makes life worth living & makes the world shine brighter then the sun.

who's there to show me guidance not hurt, or tears, or pain,
who's there to clear my path from clouds & stormy rains.

well until that day comes when i meet Mr. forever,
I'll be here waiting for us to be together!!!!
