BEAUTIFUL FACES

by Lily   Mar 10, 2005

Why are people judging our race, by the look on our face?
Why can't they see we are all equal in so many ways?
living our life by our own pace ,until depression strikes us
The pressure to be a certain way haunts us everyday, worrying about what people say should lead us to pray
We should try to make this World better by sticking together
The color of our skin, doesn't make is any more or less
It doesn't matter how we dress
Were such a big mess, carried with such stress
Do you ever stop and think that if there weren't any racism in our World young teens would still be by their parents side, instead of ending to commit
SUICIDE!
Peace is our guide to stop such ignorance
It doesn't make any sense
Were not any less regarding our race
This can be done, we can all come as one
Be as bright as the sun
Each and every single one of us is different, were unique
Equality is what we seek
So people aren't who you are?, and you begin to detest because you think your the best from the rest?
Why can't we see the truth that lies beneath ourselves with our heart
Instead of what our eyes see
We should be able to feel free
This is the way it's meant to be
As we can learn to forget, we can learn to respect instead of doing neglect
This is the land of the free
Well this is not what I see
Love and respect, be Kind, use your mind
WE can reach levels you thought we'd never achieve
Let's follow the right path, when we can all come together and be Strong, delete the wrong
See that light a beautiful sight
I am a reflection of who you are I am a star, judge me from a far
But I'll always keep loving you for
who you are
