A better path

Long time ago
chose the wrong road
suffered the consequence
price paid, other dispense
looking at the ground
you want your family around
all the misses
unfulfilled wishes
the time
for the crime
memories blurred
from the past re-occurred
go back
get knowledge you lack
make a better choice
use your voice
don't be persuaded
stay un-invaded
succeed
with all the need
for a better life
no more strife
stay away from that hath
and choose a better path
