Here then Gone

by Lindsey   Mar 10, 2005

Memories
Here, there, then gone,
Falling through the empty space
Of pastimes
Lost and found.
Answering questions with more
Questions,
Still not knowing the truth.
Searching every moment
For a familiar face.
I don't think I'll ever find you;
Not in this lifetime.
My fingers had just a slight grasp
And then I let go.
Fell a million miles;
Became too small to see.
The horizon became the view.
The sun shines with tears
That I've cried over time,
Letting the rain wash it away
To think alone
Of memories
Here, there, then gone.
