Afraid to express or to show how I feel
The feelings I have in case they’re too real
I’m scared to be me I don’t want you to see
All of the doubts or uncertainty
If I say that I love you or say that I care
Maybe I’ll lose you and that wouldn’t be fair
If I expose the real me that’s hidden inside
I could be too hurt so it’s safer to hide
But what if you’re wrong and we both feel the same
Could I then lose you, could I stand the pain?
Life is a gamble we play the cards that we’re dealt
Sometime we’re winners sometimes we are not.
But if you don’t play your hunches or take a chance
What good is living, you must take a stance
Life is too short we only come this way once
So make the most of it every opportunity you must pounce.
Express all your feelings show the real you
Live for the moment to your self always be true
Gain from experiences learn from mistakes
Love in the giving your life you must take.
For no-one is certain the time that we get
Each day is a bonus nothing’s a firm bet
All of the moments don’t live to regret
Share all your feelings, your love and what’s more
And people will always flock to your door.
