Where Do I Belong?

Peaceful in mind
But corrupt in soul
My hopes for life
Just an empty hole

I have much to accomplish
In this existing form
But lack of money and time
Fuel this chaotic storm

I place trust in a stranger
And get betrayed again
But can't trust my girl
Who's been honest since "then"

My priorities are backwards
I don't know what I need
So I default to apathy
My motivation from greed

Is this truly the way
I am meant to live life
Not knowing anything
Just accepting the strife

I need to take action
To change all that's wrong
I need to finish my story
And find where I belong
