Forbidden Love

by Charlotte   Mar 11, 2005

I gaze in the window hoping to catch a glimpse of my love
My eyes frantically searching the dimly light room
And there on the bed I find my delicate princess
Her beauty is like no other I’ve ever known

Rows upon rows of strawberry kisses stain her pale skin
Everyday I bestow a new one upon her tender flesh
Gently placed to remind her of my never ending love for her

Every night I bring my love buckets full of jewels
Crystals are permanently painted on her rosy cheeks
And ruby bracelets sit so perfectly on her wrists

Such sweet words of love I long to say to my sweetheart
But I cannot say out loud for fear of being heard by wandering ears
Instead I must engrave the words so my baby can read them forever

I wish to yell to the world how much I love my princess
To let everyone know what happens in that room every night
And the feelings that she hides so deep inside

But our love must forever remain a secret never to be spoken of
For such true love as ours is forbidden by the world
Our torrid love affair must never reach the ears of others

*Its meant to be the love affair between a girl and her razor...
