He loves her

by Tainted Beauty   Mar 11, 2005

I saw him sitting there,
In a miserable heap,
Trying to hold it in,
Not to make a peep,
As soon as I saw him,
I knew what was wrong,
She took his heart and crushed it,
And now she is gone,
I sat down beside him,
And I saw a single tear,
I can’t stand seeing him hurt,
It’s my worst fear,
His name, I whispered,
As soft as can be,
And with a heavy heart,
He looked up at me,
“Don’t cry over her!
She’s not worth the pain,
Just because she doesn’t love you,
Don’t go insane,
Your life is too short,
To be waiting for her to see,
Just what a great person,
You can be,
We all know she should love you,
She’s being selfish and cold,
To just turn you away,
Your love not even to behold,
I envy her so much,
It’s just not fair,
She can break your heart,
When all I want is to have you there,
Well I will always love you,
I will never make you cry,
I promise to be there for you,
Until the day I die.”
