No More

One night as I lay in bed I decide,
I will keep my dignity and my pride,
I decide to give up on love,
And in the belief that you were sent from above
In believing this I set my self up for a fall,
Now I realize that,
Love hurts us all,

From the sea to the mountains,
Far and wide,
It is true,
Love hurts us all inside

I wish that this weren't true,
But, you have to know it's all because of you,
I opened my heart to you, but you let it die,
With your cold, evil lie,

You said you weren't like that,
You said you would never hate me,
But like that is what you chose to be,

I loved you,
But now that's all in the past,
I really thought my love for you would last,

All I want is for you to know,
I loved you,
But I had to let you go,

I would just like to ask you for one more little thing,
Before you break another's heart,
Just remember that they are a human being,
Not the sludge on your shoe,
And you know, they have feelings too.

Now I must go and smile once again,
Just because I don't love,
Doesn't mean my world has to come to an end,
I am happy now that decide,
I'm going to keep my dignity and pride
