Waiting for Tomorrow and Wishing for Yesterday

by DarkOpex   Mar 12, 2005

The tears that pour from the eyes of fear ripple the puddles below from the rain above.
Sitting outside upon the wet ground, letting the rain soak away all her problems.
Having the world pass her by with no one caring or even glancing in the direction of where she sits, waiting for tomorrow and wishing for yesterday.

Drowning in her tears, her tears of fear; of dying alone, and dying unknown.
Sitting on this ground ,cold and wet; sitting, thinking, wishing, waiting.
Looking around for a way out, but none to be seen, She’s just sitting and waiting for tomorrow and wishing for yesterday.

The sun never comes, and the darkness stays.
The nights are fearful of all that lurk.
The days are long and dreary of the rain that falls, falls from the eyes of fear, and from up above.
From the little girl that sits alone outside in the rain, and the one that sits in her room, waiting for tomorrow and wishing for yesterday.

Her life has been toyed with abused and hurt.
Her tears of fear, make those that see her, not care. They walk around her like she’s not there.
They don’t see her cry, or wither in fear, from the family that just doesn’t care.
She can cry and scream, and no one hears; she’s learned to be quiet, and just wait for tomorrow and wish for yesterday.

Because

The tears that pour from her eyes of fear, ripple the puddles below from the rain above.
Sitting outside upon the wet ground, letting the rain soak away her problems.
Having the world pass her by with no one caring or even glancing in the direction of where she sits, waiting for tomorrow and wishing for yesterday.
