Cotton Candy on a Rainy Day

When I am sad and I cry from pain
I try to smile even in the rain
I let the sun dry up all my tears
I let it shed some light on my fears

I look toward the light when I can\'t see
I look for a crowd when I am lonely
I look for the hand of my guardian angel
I look for the rope to grab on, a rope that isn\'t tangle

So I am the flashlight in a dark tunnel
I am a lifeguard saving myself in my ocean of sorrows
I am my own treaty in my own little war
I am the future that makes me live for tomorrow.

The comedy during a horror movie
The solution to a problem in an easy way
Walking bare foot on a rocky mountain
And cotton candy on a rainy day
