You couldn't just love one,
and you picked the other one.
And now your walking away.
Why did you hurt us?
Just tear our family apart.
As you walked out of the
door you stomped on
our hearts.

This poem was written about my mother's ex boyfriend. He raised my sister, and I since I was 3. He was cheating on my mother for years, and we were not told until I was about 13. I am not 21, and I still love this man to death even though he hurt my mom so bad. He is my father to me. He raised me since I was 3. When my real father decided he didn't want to be a father to us anymore. My real father now is trying to be in our lives again but it is hard because he walked out on us so long ago. I am trying to give him a second chance but it will take awhile before I can truly trust him again. As far as my mother's ex he is still my father to me. Please comment, and rate it would mean a lot to me.
