everybody's here delighted and gay(happy)
But she's not here I'm waiting
a hope in my heart that she's coming
Seconds are minutes and minutes are hour
without her nothing's sweet everything's sour
Calling on her cell,she's out of reach
can't understand why she's ignoring me
She's leaving the town just now I came to know
i was completely shocked didn't know where to go
Was something short in my commitment I said

She flew away leaving many questions unanswered
shattered my dreams and the memories I preserved
