The Eight Wonders of You

by dandy   Mar 12, 2005

The main number of wonders is seven, this I know.
But one more is also present, One I try not show.......

I wonder if you'll ever know
the kind of joy you bring.
And knowing I'm not with you,
these feelings always sting.

I wonder if you're happy,
weather I'm the reason you smile.
I know that I am not exactly
worth all of your while.

I wonder if you know the hidden thoughts
beneath my soul.
I feel an emptiness in side;
Only you can make me whole.

I wonder if I will ever hear
the secrets that you keep.
I want to know you better,
first lightly and then deep.

I wonder what you see;
when you look upon my face.
Is my face a beauty,
or something of disgrace?

I wonder if something I say
ever makes you laugh.
I'm all together when you're happy,
but when you're down I'm only half.

I wonder if you'll be the one
to gaze into my eyes;
And recognize the true person,
under this disguise.

But most of all I wonder,
If you wonder about me.
But I'm left to continue hoping
among my love's debris.
