Behind a cunning smile I protect the real true me concealed deep down inside where no-one else can see. Behind a performers smile I play the part so well damaged and frustrated but no-one could ever tell. Behind a mischievous smile I purport to be so "bad" so no-one sees the truth that I'm confidentially sad. Behind a cheeky smile I dramatize I'm the "best" I put on courtesan shows and pass their deviant "tests". Behind a lascivious smile I parade just for the boys It dictates to them I'm happy and they exploit me as their toy. Behind a timid smile I glance at you to see if you've fallen for my show or if you see the "real true me".
