When I heard what happened,
I couldn't believe it.
I got a call,
they said you were hurt.

I came and saw you,
you'd been hit by a car.
I got out of my car,
and lay beside you.

I held on to your hand,
praying to GOD for you to stay.
Tears drop down,
looking at your face.

You told me to promise,
promise to think of you always.
I said don't say that,
you will be OK.

Your hand slowly dropped,
And your eyes closed.
I couldn't believe it,
you were gone.

The promise you told me,
