Temper

by AllHailTheHeartbreaker   Mar 13, 2005

A harsh word
A grip upon a wrist
Things you can't take back.

Hateful tones
Over trivial matters
And the pain of someone you love.

The frightened look
Upon her face
And you know you've done the wrong thing.

A flaring temper
And lack of thought
May have cost you your love.

She did nothing wrong
She's the best you'll ever have
It's not her fault she's sick.

Was it really worth it?
And did your anger help her?
Or only make her worse?

She's fading fast
And you missed your chance
All because of your temper.
