Life's Little Equation

Love is blind or so they say
It comes back to hurt you one day
The memories they never do fade away
There is no time like the present today…

The world goes round or so they claim
No originality every one acts the same
Look at your life what you have became
Desperation inside for a thing called fame…

People live and so too do people die
Leaving their loved ones a million tears to cry
Never a warning or hinting of when or why
Not way to prevent it, no point to try…

Time goes on and stops for none
You can’t undo your past or what you’ve done
So self indulged thinking you’re the only one
You can only blame yourself for what you’ve become…

The catch that they always seem to forget to mention
The path to hell will be paved with what appears good intention
Talk can be seasoned and reasoned to perfection
Your soul will never be saved there’s no hope for redemption…

Its funny how there is no lack of miscommunication
And how greed has lead to so many complications
Love and hate can both be defined with infatuation
You can never solve what I call “life’s little equation”…

“Life’s little equation” has been this way since creation
A combination of sacrifice and turning away temptation
But there is no answer or way of separation
No word that can explain in everyday conversation…

“Life’s little equation” will be presented on the day of judgement
We will need to pray and get down on our knees to repent
For the Almighty, up above will surely resent
Our lack of respect for all the wonders he has sent…

It won’t be the deceptive, or evil… but the innocent
Who will be spared of His wrath and punishment
No one has predicted this day to what will be its extent
So look at your life right now, your values and your intent…
