Living In Your Suicide

Take one second
Next time you want to leave
To think it through
God will forgive you
But I’ll never let you go

And if I find
That you have gone
I never will forget
The scar that’s left upon my heart
From the knife that cut me deep

I’ll try to move on
To live my life, again
But deep inside, I’ll know
My scars will fade away
But memories are forever

Each night in bed
I’ll think of you
And know that I’m alone
Cuz you left me here
Abandoned, with no love

And when at last
I fall asleep
I will see only nightmares
And wake up screaming
While bleeding from my soul

So think of me
I hope it helps
To know how much I love
You and your light
The one inside your soul

Know that without you
I die inside
And I’m helpless to prevent
This empty feeling in me
From dragging me away

I’ll vanish into darkness
Never to return
But don’t you think I’ll fight it
I’d rather live in shadows
Than live inside your suicide

    Omg.
    I have been struggling with words in my poems for what feels like decades just to capture what you've written. And its never felt so REAL, all the emotions you've written down, but do you have any idea how TRUE they really are???? How absolutely, positively head-on you were about everything you wrote about??

    Once again, you're describing me. And all the words I never managed to grasp, you collected them all into the perfect poem here.
    I'm jealous, but Congrats.

    Very true...Yet its not so easy when it comes to the time...stopping and thinking of what you'll be leaving behind, who you'll hurt and who'll miss you...
