Forget

by Mac   Mar 13, 2005

Forget the tears cried under cloak of night,
Forget troubled thoughts of long dead plight,
Forget the aches of pain filled scars,
The nights one couldn't view the stars,
Forget the ring round dead end orb,
predicting death and life absorbed,
Forget the names that crossed your lips,
the ones you thought you longed to kiss,
Forget the nights the dead had died,
Move on to life your wish not singed
look into my blue tinted eyes,
To tell you of my truth or lies,
Look for me on nights so cold,
my arms which ache for you to hold,
Forget me not when nights grow long,
Let not my heart know mourning song,
My dear, my boyo, this is true,
My love and soul, I'll not forget you.
