You walked into the room
As I looked into your eyes
All I wanted was for you to hold me
To feel your soft lips on mine
You came over to my side
Whispered slowly in my ear
“I will always be here for youâ€
Only I hoped what you said was true
But look at me now
I have nobody to hold me close
Nobody to share this cold pain with
You told me you loved me
I hung onto every word you said
The sad thing was I believed it all
You told me we were together
But you lied to my face
Walking around with your ladies
Thinking I would never find out
In the end we were both wrong
